POSITION OVERVIEW
We have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team at The Ritz London within the Kitchen department as a Junior Sous Chef.
Our Junior Sous Chef is responsible for assisting with the smooth running of the pastry kitchen operation. You will already have well-developed culinary and team management skills, and be motivated, enthusiastic, and passionate about fine cuisine and pastry. The successful candidate will be expected to provide input into new and existing menus and run the day-to-day operations of the pastry kitchen whilst overseeing the pastry team.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Qualification or training in culinary studies, degree standard or similar preferred
Relevant experience in a 5* property or fine-dining kitchen
Excellent communication and team management skills
Possess the ability to work under pressure and have strong organisational skills
Great command of the English language, both spoken and written
Display a polite and professional attitude to internal and external guests
