Junior Solicitor – RTA (NQ–2 PQE) | Preston | Full Time | £30,000 – £40,000 DOE + Bonus

Are you the right person for the job?

This role is ideal for an NQ Solicitor looking for proper training and exposure, or a 1–2 PQE Solicitor ready to take the next step into a more autonomous litigation role.

To be successful, you will have:

• Qualification as a Solicitor (NQ–2 PQE)
• Experience in RTA / Personal Injury litigation or pre-litigation
• Familiarity with MOJ Portal processes (desirable but not essential)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organisation and ability to manage competing deadlines
• A proactive, motivated, and team-oriented approach
• Confidence using case management systems

What will your role look like?

You will join a busy and growing RTA litigation team, supporting and progressively managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing pre-litigation and litigated RTA files
• Drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
• Liaising with clients, insurers, medical experts, and counsel
• Developing your knowledge of the Civil Procedure Rules
• Ensuring accurate file handling and compliance with internal processes
• Delivering excellent client care throughout each stage of the claim
• Supporting senior solicitors while building independence in your caseload
