We are currently recruiting for a Junior Quality Inspector to join their growing Quality team. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to develop their career in quality control and product inspection within a structured and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities – Junior Quality Inspector:
Conduct final inspection and release of completed components
Approve finished goods in internal systems and issue delivery release documentation
Generate and issue certification of conformity to meet customer and specification requirements
Perform inspection tasks using internal procedures and company standards
Administer document control and ensure job completion records are accurate and maintained
Serialise parts as required for traceability
Conduct material validation tests, including XRF, electrical conductivity, and hardness testing
Manage and maintain calibration equipment with traceability
Support internal investigations and contribute to corrective actions
Participate in daily quality and production meetings
Comply with internal procedures and company quality systems
Key Skills & Requirements – Junior Quality Inspector:
High attention to detail and ability to record data accurately
Confident using measurement tools and working with numerical data
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Word
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under pressure
Eagerness to learn and take part in internal and external training
Understanding of the importance of compliance and structured procedures
Working Environment:
Based on-site at the Chesterfield facility
Occasional travel to a nearby sister site may be required
Regular collaboration with Production, Commercial, Procurement, and IT teams
Interaction with external customers and suppliers as part of the quality process
Working Hours:
Standard day shifts (specific hours to be confirmed)
Flexibility may be required to support production demands
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive salary (dependent on experience) £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
