Job Description

Junior Operations Manager | Premium F&B Brand | London

The Client

Our client is a fast-growing premium food & beverage brand with a strong reputation for quality and a well-established presence across hospitality, retail and e-commerce channels globally. The business has scaled steadily over a number of years and continues to see increasing demand across international markets.

What makes the environment interesting is the complexity behind the product. Sourcing is global, supply cycles are not always straightforward, and there is a constant need to balance availability, quality, and cost. As a result, the operations and supply chain function plays a central role in how the business performs.

The team is collaborative, hands-on, and used to working in a relatively lean structure. Individuals are given ownership early and are expected to contribute across multiple areas rather than operating in silos. With continued growth, there is a clear opportunity for someone to develop quickly and take on broader responsibility over time.

The Role

This role sits within the operations team and will take ownership of demand planning while also supporting wider supply chain activities, including production planning and network logistics.

As the business grows, they are looking to bring in someone who can take more structured ownership of planning, improve how processes are run, and provide clearer visibility across demand and supply.

Reporting into the COO, the successful candidate will be seen as someone who can grow into a more senior position, taking on greater ownership of planning and contributing to improvements across the wider supply chain function.

Key Duties

  • Build and maintain demand forecasts, incorporating sales trends, seasonality, and commercial input
  • Support production planning by maintaining planning tools and ensuring forecasts translate into clear supply requirements
  • Contribute to the S&OP process, providing reporting and insight to support decision-making
  • Take ownership of stock allocation across multiple warehouse locations to maintain target stock levels
  • Oversee logistics execution in collaboration with internal and external partners, ensuring stock movements are completed accurately and on time
  • Maintain and update ERP systems, ensuring data accuracy and timely transaction processing
  • Monitor and report on key KPIs, highlighting risks relating to stock availability, ageing inventory, or supply constraints
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal teams on stock availability and planning queries
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning tools, reporting, and operational processes

What the Client Would Like to See (Essential)

  • Experience in demand planning, supply planning, or a similar operations, supply chain or logistics focused role
  • Strong analytical capability, with advanced Excel skills and confidence working with data
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently, review data, and make informed recommendations
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Comfortable working across multiple areas of a supply chain in a fast-moving environment
  • Clear communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

What We Would Like to See (Bonus)

  • Experience in a fast-growing or SME environment
  • Exposure to logistics, warehouse operations, or stock allocation
  • Experience supporting S&OP or integrated business planning processes
  • Background in food & beverage, fmcg, consumer, beauty, health & wellness, retail or personal-care
  • Experience with systems such as Cin7 (or similar ERP platforms)
  • Someone with the ambition and capability to grow into a leadership role as the function evolves
