Our client is a market leader in the UK providing industry leading solutions and products to the egg industry. They are looking for the right person to join their team of UK Service Engineers. This role is all about learning and developing to get to the stage where you can support their client base across the UK and the work is varied including: installation of brand new machinery, servicing and planned maintenance as well as responding to breakdowns. A willingness to learn, positive attitude and honest and integrity are key attributes our client is looking for. You might enjoy fixing things, building kit cars, fixing and maintaining your own car or come from an agricultural background. Once you are fully trained your responsibilities will include: Responsibilities A willingness to attend service and support calls at short notice Significant overnight stays and travel (up to 100 days per annum) - travel, accommodation and meal costs are met in full by our client Installation of new machinery Planned maintenance and repair Emergency maintenance and repairs Some overseas travel in the first 18 months for training and to install machinery Candidate requirements A minimum of five years experience in a relevant field (for example automotive, agriculture, heavy plant, production and conveyors) Mechanical and electrical engineering experience with a mechanical bias - candidates can be time served as there is no requirement to hold formal qualifications Ideally candidates will come from a field engineering background Good communication skills Ability to use initiative A strong work ethic Self motivated A clean UK driving licence A valid passport as there is some overseas travel to Ireland and the Netherlands
