Blue Arrow is working in partnership with a highly regarded and award winning further education provider, who have several openings for skilled Joiners. Our client is seeking multiple joiners to work on a project to perform repairs and replacements on fire doors, as well as assist with other general maintenance tasks across the site. This role involves contributing to the enhancement of the campus facilities and working alongside other tradespeople to ensure that all required work is efficiently completed to deadlines.
Main duties and responsibilities * Carrying out a full range of repairs, maintenance, and planned improvement duties with the emphasis on multi skilled works across the University's estate. * Changing and fitting door hinges * intumescent strips * Adjusting gaps in doors to ensure sealed correctly incase of a fire. * Installing drop down seals * Replacing handles * Carpentry and joinery work * Locksmith Work * Changing door closers * Always Work within the relevant Health and Safety legislation and guidelines when carrying out w...
