IT Project Manager

12 month Fixed Term Contract

Edinburgh Office Hybrid 1 day per week

£55,000 pa

Cathcart Technology are working with a notable organisation as they continue through a complex digital transformation. This is a strategic programme delivering change across the organisation so they're looking for the right kind of experience. There are a number of projects within the programme which include replacing management databases and implementing new internal systems and solutions.

What you'll do

Lead and motivate cross functional project teams, assigning work and managing delivery

Manage third party suppliers and work closely with integrated system partners

Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to keep projects aligned and on track

Ensure quality delivery through robust testing, documentation, and clear decision making

Drive change control, manage risks and issues, and capture lessons learned to improve future delivery

What you'll bring

A recognised project management qualification and degree level education (IT or related)

Proven experience delivering cloud based solutions, including Microsoft business applications (e.g. CRM, Business Central)

Strong supplier and stakeholder management experience, ideally within a professional or regulatory environment

Excellent project, time and risk management skills, with the ability to juggle priorities and meet deadlines

Confident communicator, able to translate technical detail for non technical audiences and engage SMEs

A collaborative, solutions focused mindset with strong negotiation and problem solving skills
