IT Procurement Specialist
Role: IT Procurement Specialist
Client: Large Pet Care Group
Location: Role can be remote
Salary: £50,000 to £60,000 plus benefits (including up to 6% matched pension and generous staff discount on pet care and products)
An exciting progression opportunity for a Procurement Specialist, with end-to-end knowledge, to take the next step in their career and join a leading animal care organisation, which has £100ms of revenue and 500 locations UK-wide
About the Role:
As IT Procurement Specialist, you'll play a crucial role across the Procurement process, including running RFPs, negotiations, appointing suppliers, and managing those suppliers. The role will span across IT equipment, software, and services.
You'll work closely with the IT Director and Procurement Manager, to uphold procurement best practice, and influence cost-saving initiatives and service quality improvements across the Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage IT procurement projects across hardware, software, telecoms, and managed services
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand IT needs and translate into procurement actions
- Run end-to-end tender processes, from writing specifications to contract negotiation
- Monitor supplier performance, contract compliance, and renewal schedules
- Stay up to date with IT procurement trends, licensing models, and market innovations
What You'll Need:
- Experience in IT procurement
- End-to-end experience, including tendering, negotiation, and supplier management
- Good stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
