IT Operations Analyst (UK Based)

Working alongside the IT Manager, you will join the team at an exciting time within the business and Operations Department in general. The team is reasonably new in its current form and has been tasked with the objective of transforming how IT is run, with real emphasis on streamlining processes and implementing automation wherever possible. This is a great opportunity for the right individual to make a positive impact on the user experience and department efficiency when it comes to delivering IT Support.
Job requirements
- You have a background in 2 nd Line IT Support environments.
- You have a passion for delivering positive change and to provide excellent levels of end user support.
- You have excellent organisation skills and can prioritise work based on severity, urgency and impact.
- Are self-disciplined and able to work flexibly on tasks and projects while delivering them inside of business expectations.
- Have a strong background in automation and workflows – preferably within the Atlassian Product suite.
- Can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of administering Microsoft M365, Azure, EntraID, Intune etc.
- Have knowledge of Cloud networking and computing in general, AWS, Checkpoint etc.
- Some basic understanding of VOIP is preferred but not essential.

Primary responsibilities
- Providing IT Desktop Support for PCI PAL’s user base where required.
- Be an escalation point for the Service Desk, who triage and provide 1 st line support for IT tickets.
- Managing Onboarding / Offboarding of users and the associated processes.
- Centralising administration of Jira, Confluence and other business systems.
- Managing and administering our M365 and Azure tenants, alongside our Checkpoint SASE solution.
- Develop and maintain an asset register and auditing and renewing the current hardware estate.
- Taking ownership of assigned projects and deliver them within the expected timeframe.
