IT Field Projects Engineer

Working within the Client Projects team, youd be responsible for the execution of technical IT projects, from planning through to completion. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs and deliver projects on time and to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise, strong project implementation skills, be highly organised and have excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Configuration and deployment of servers.
Installation of networking equipment (switches, firewalls, etc).
Carrying out cloud migrations.
Implementation of data storage, backup and disaster recovery
Assist in the development of project plans, including defining scope, objectives, and timelines.
Key Requirements:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT role, with at least 2 years in a relevant project delivery / installation capacity.
Microsoft 365 and Azure Cloud Platforms
Windows Operating Systems and Server environments (Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, etc.)
Networking (firewalls, routers, switches, VLANs, VPNs etc)
Virtualisation technologies (Hyper-V, VMware)
A valid UK driving licence
