As a Solutions Architect Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge solutions that align with our strategic goals. You will lead complex projects, mentor junior architects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and excellence. About the team:
The Solution Architecture team in Global CX is responsible for collaborating with Product Managers, Engineering leads, and other Solution and Enterprise Architects by sharing technology capabilities that can shape and influence strategies to drive value. The team is responsible for: Discovery solutioning Detailed Solution Designs Integration standards and solutions (APIs, Microservices, Event Streaming) Cloud enablement and solutioning Working closely with the Engineering teams including System Architects of other domains What you will be doing:
Strategic Leadership: Develop and drive the architectural vision and strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements. Solution Design: Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions across various platforms and technologies. Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical expertise in cloud computing, microservices, DevOps, and other emerging technologies. Mentorship: Mentor and guide junior architects and technical teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, Product Managers, Engineering leaders, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Innovation: Stay abreast of payment industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the architectural practice to maintain a competitive edge. Governance: Establish and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance policies. What you will need:
Bachelor's in computer science or engineering, or the equivalent experience - post-graduate education desired. 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, with a proven track record of designing and leading complex solutions and projects. Proficiency in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices architecture, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and DevOps practices. Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, TOGAF, or similar are highly desirable. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically. Added bonus if you have:
