Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Inventory Planner on a 3 month contract based in Lincoln. Role Summary Responsible inventory management for Service business with the objective to minimise inventory cost whilst providing measurable material availability . Collaborative/Proactive management of Slow moving parts with other departments. Regular collaboration with other business areas including Purchasing / Logistics & B.A. Generate top level inventory reports for the senior management to promote inventory efficiency. Management of new inventory requirements & process improvements across all overhaul areas. Requirements degree level education & engineering technical knowledge equivalent to 5 years. In addition a minimum of 5 years man management experience & cross departmental relationship capability is essential. Degree qualified in relevant subject, or membership of appropriate institution, i.e. CIPS, Institute of Logistics, Institute of Operations Management together with professional qualifications. Commercial acumen, Analytical and Computer skills, Resolute & determined self-starter. A thorough knowledge of SAP processes, including Materials Management and Sales & Marketing. A thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Forecast tools. A good understanding of all live Bill of Materials pertaining to all 3 service areas. Minimum of 5 years relevant logistic/supply chain management experience. Ability to challenge & evolve solutions for inventory process issues & lead their adoption into the business. Communication and Change management skills across all main departments within Service business.
