Job Description

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute category strategies across IT spend areas (software, SaaS, cloud, and infrastructure)
  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including RFPs, contract negotiations, and supplier selection
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and deliver measurable value through commercial optimisation
  • Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, driving performance and innovation
  • Partner with IT, finance, and legal teams to align procurement activity with business objectives
  • Ensure robust contract management, including risk mitigation, compliance, and governance
  • Analyse spend data and market trends to inform decision-making and future strategy
  • Support transformation initiatives, including system implementations or procurement process improvements


Key strengths we’re looking for:

  • Strong IT category expertise (software, SaaS, infrastructure)
  • Commercially savvy with excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Immediate availability or within 2 weeks
  • £700-£725 per day inside IR35
