Interim Global IT Procurement Manager

Financial Services | London (3 days per week)

£600 per day | Inside IR35

A leading Financial Services organisation is seeking an experienced IT Procurement professional to join its Global Sourcing function on an interim basis.

As Interim Global IT Procurement Manager, you will support a wide range of IT sourcing and category activities, partnering with senior technology and business stakeholders to deliver commercially robust outcomes across Software, IT Services, Hardware, and Digital/Technology spend within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a trusted procurement partner to senior IT, Technology, and business stakeholders, supporting both strategic and tactical sourcing initiatives. Lead end-to-end sourcing activity across multiple IT categories, including software, IT services, hardware, and cloud/technology solutions. Develop and manage key supplier relationships, driving value through effective negotiation, contract management, and performance governance. Support IT category strategy development, demand management, and cost optimisation initiatives. Ensure sourcing activity aligns with Financial Services regulatory, risk, and third-party governance requirements.

Required Background

Proven experience in IT Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, and IT Category Management, ideally within Financial Services or other regulated sectors. Broad IT category knowledge covering software, hardware, IT services, and technology-enabled solutions. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge senior IT and business leaders. Solid understanding of vendor management, commercial negotiation, and third-party risk.

This is a strong interim opportunity for a capable IT Category Generalist to add immediate value within a complex, fast-paced Financial Services environment.
