Joining a Private Equity backed business, you will be with the business for a period of 12 Months on a Fixed Term Contract basis.

\n\n

This role will take ownership of overheads across a large business. You’ll be responsible for reviewing management accounts and dedicated overhead review packs, as well as production packs prepared by the Management Accountants. The role also involves overseeing accruals and prepayments, attending monthly risk meetings to identify and mitigate risks, and tracking exceptional costs and unmatched payments.

\n\n

A key part of the role is analysing the drivers of overheads, including consolidated billing, and ensuring accurate cost allocation across practices. You’ll also work closely with the IT team on projects cost allocations. In addition to technical responsibilities, you’ll lead and mentor a team of 6 direct reports.

\nIdeally, this role will suit a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or an exceptional QBE with strong experience in reviewing management accounts. A background in MA, Financial Reporting, or Group accounting is essential.
