As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will lead all financial aspects of the organisation, providing oversight of budgeting, forecasting, reporting, governance, and risk. You will play a central role in strengthening financial processes, supporting strategic planning, and ensuring the organisation is well positioned for future growth and change.

Key Responsibilities Lead financial strategy and medium-term planning Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements Provide financial advice to senior leadership and board stakeholders Support due diligence, financial risk management, and organisational planning Review and strengthen financial systems, controls, and processes Lead and support the finance function Contribute to wider operational planning, including estates, digital, and sustainability considerations
About You You will be a fully qualified accountant ( ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA ) with significant senior finance leadership experience. You will also bring: Strong strategic and operational finance expertise Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and xehkeey financial reporting Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and risk Experience of leading teams and driving improvement The ability to manage competing priorities in a changing environment Experience in education, public sector, not-for-profit
