I am currently recruiting for a highly specialised position working at the pinnacle of Defence engineering, which will play a critical part in the development of cutting-edge systems that are vital to the UK. The successful candidate will assume ownership of an integrated RF sensor suite and its various sub-systems, acting as the design authority for the overall system. You must have a strong understanding of the development and operability of multiple complex systems related to the product, with knowledge of the interoperability of multiple RF sensors in close proximity in a highly conflicted EM environment. You will provide technical guidance and leadership to other engineers and show a deep knowledge of expert experience in this field. Experience: You need to possess expert knowledge in areas such as Active Electronically Scanned Arrays, Combat Management Systems, complex system integration, and sensors & communication, including understanding factors that affect the performance of radar systems and how this can impact their accuracy/effectiveness. This experience will include leading development programmes of highly complex systems and being comfortable presenting technical and non-technical concepts in intricate detail.
