Our client NEO Next are currently recruiting for an Insurance and Risk Management Advisor to join their team based in Aberdeen on a contract basis initially. Ideally for this role they are looking for an experienced Insurance and Risk Management Advisor with a background in Audits and the Oil and Gas Industry. For more information on this role see below:

Job Overview The Insurance & Risk Management Advisor is responsible for providing comprehensive support to the Head of Compliance across insurance and risk management areas. The role will support managing the company's approach to enterprise risk management and help improve systems and processes to ensure the company is fully appraised of relevant risks and opportunities. The role will have a broad involvement in all risk-related workstreams. The role will also support the Head of Compliance in managing the company's insurance arrangements, including the annual renewal process.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities • Working across the organization to support the identification, evaluation and quantification of risk • Improving the transparency of risk and effective communication throughout the organization • Evolving and implementing the company's enterprise risk management strategy • Supporting the Head of Compliance with the preparation of risk reports for the Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Audit, Tax and Finance Committee and the Board of Directors • Supporting the Head of Compliance with insurance related workstreams, including the annual renewal process

Professional Skills and Experience • Organized and methodical approach to work with an eye for detail • Team player who is also comfortable working independently • Ability to engage with a variety of stakeholders across the business • Creative thinking – able to consider range of solutions • Strong analytical skills • Strong communicator - can use language effectively (verbal or written) to gather information and facilitate the exchange of ideas • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills • Previous experience with upstream oil and gas industry

Qualifications and Certifications • Bachelor level Degree or equivalent
