We are seeking an experienced Percussion Tutor to deliver high-quality music lessons across primary and secondary school settings in Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate musician to inspire students and develop their skills in percussion and drum kit.
Key Details
Hours:
Up to 1 day per week initially (flexible on the day)
9:00 AM 3:00 PM contact time in school
Potential to increase hours over time
Optional Saturdays available if desired
Teaching Scope:
Primary and secondary school ages
1:1, small group, and class lessons
Primary level: instrumental lessons only
Focus on music, percussion, and drum kit
Requirements
Previous teaching experience (formal qualification not required)
Enhanced DBS clearance
Ability to engage and motivate learners of varying ages and abilities
The person will be travelling to different schools, often multiple on the same day
Full time hours on a temporary basis.
