We are working in partnership with an Electrical and Instrumentation subcontractors recruiting for an Instrument Technician to work on a Power Station in Southeast England on an initial 6 week contract.
The Instrument Technician role comes with a rate of £700 per day.
Key skills
Install, calibrate, and maintain field instrumentation including pressure, temperature, flow, and level devices
Perform routine maintenance, fault finding, and diagnostics on control and instrumentation systems across LNG and power assets
Carry out loop checks, function testing, and support commissioning and start-up activities
Read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, instrument datasheets, and control system documentation
Ensure all work complies with site safety standards, ATEX requirements, and permit-to-work systems within a COMAH environment
Work collaboratively within the E&I team, completing calibration records, test documentation, and maintaining high safety and housekeeping standards
