The below job description will outline this position of: Installation & Commissioning Engineer
Typically, this person will be responsible for the installation, configuration and commissioning of security systems including CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems across a range of commercial, local authority and domestic sites. The role will involve ensuring all systems are installed to a high standard, fully operational and handed over to the client with full functionality and understanding.

Duties and responsibilities of the Installation & Commissioning Engineer:
• Installation of CCTV, intruder alarm and access control systems across various sites • Commissioning and testing of systems to ensure full functionality and compliance • Fault finding during installation and commissioning phases • Completion of electronic job sheets and accurate reporting of work carried out • Liaising with customers on-site to ensure a professional handover and client satisfaction • Identifying opportunities for system upgrades or additional works and feeding back to management
Qualifications and requirements for the Installation & Commissioning Engineer:
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience within the fire and security industry • Proven experience installing and commissioning CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a proactive, can-do attitude • Full UK driving licence • Willingness to undergo BS7858 security screening including enhanced DBS and police check
