V3 Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced Injection Mould Press Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing company based in Waterlooville. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong injection moulding experience to join a high-volume production environment.
Role Purpose
The Injection Mould Press Engineer is responsible for the setup, operation, optimisation, and maintenance of injection moulding presses to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality production.
This role plays a key part in maintaining stable processes, delivering consistent cycle times, producing high-quality parts, and supporting continuous improvement across the moulding department.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out setup, start-up, and shutdown of injection moulding presses in line with work instructions Install, secure, and remove mould tools safely and efficiently Set and adjust machine parameters including temperatures, speeds, pressures, cooling, and clamp force Perform first-off checks and complete all required documentation Optimise cycle times and process parameters to improve efficiency and quality Troubleshoot moulding defects such as flash, short shots, burns, warpage, and contamination Support improvements in OEE, scrap reduction, and overall production performance Inspec...
