Job Title: Incumbency Protection and Insights Manager

Location:Westminster and Central London, with the opportunity to work from home at least one day per week

Contract:Permanent, full time (37.5 hours per week)

Reports to:Head of Best Practice

Overview

This is a unique opportunity to support and showcase the work of Liberal Democrat MPs during a pivotal parliamentary term -shaping how we build, share and sustain best practice across the party.

As Incumbency Protection and Insights Manager, you’ll sit at the heart of our Westminster operations, working directly with our 72 MPs, alongside experienced colleagues in Parliament and LDHQ. Your role will be to help MPs and their teams build on their strengths, operate with maximum effectiveness, and make the most of the opportunities of incumbency.

You’ll identify and elevate the most impactful ways of working, turning insight into action and feeding this learning into training, resources and strategic thinking across the party. It’s a role for someone with sharp political judgement, excellent people skills, and a drive to make systems work better, all while helping Liberal Democrat MPs deliver for their communities.
