Working in the Pontypool area for our long-established client the UK's leading food manufacturers and retailers.
ctrg are currently recruiting for a dedicated team member to work as a Hygiene Operative in Pontypool, NP4 0JJ
This is a long-term position with the potential for a permanent position.
Duties will include:
Carry out day to day hygiene activities in line with daily requirements ensuring operational integrity General pot washing duties, cleaning lines and machines adhering to high company standards, general waste management Review equipment and highlight damage, escalating risks to the appropriate personnel Ensure that chemicals are used and stored correctly Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and submitted to the correct personnel Follow work instructions highlighting any issues to the Hygiene Senior Operator Promote a good health, safety and environmental culture within the department Identify and highlight any opportunities that make sustainable improvements to increase quality, performance in support of the overall shift planPersonal Attributes:
We're looking for good level of English ideally hygiene experience within a food manufacturing environment Attention to detail Basic understanding of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene Ability to work unsupervised Hours of Work
12 hr shifts on a 4 on 4 off rota - flexibility to be able to start either 5am, 7am or 9am Immediate StartsRate of Pay
£13.05 per hour Weekly payLocation: Pontypool, NP4 0JJ
