Become a Hygiene Operative with our client who is a leading food production company and play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our state-of-the-art facilities. This permanent position offers a competitive salary. PRIMARY OBJECTIVE:
Maintain the cleanliness of their mill equipment and facilities to the highest standards
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform cleaning and hygiene duties according to cleaning schedules, cleaning procedures and / or as otherwise advised.
Operate in a safe manner, isolating and locking off equipment as required
Perform cleaning and hygiene duties according to schedules and procedures
Identify and report any pest or proofing issues that may result in the immediate (or otherwise) ingress of insects or other pests into the product
Identify and report any safety, quality, engineering, or hygiene issues to your superiors
Safely dismantle, store, and reassemble equipment as directed
Handle approved chemicals in a safe manner
QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a similar food-related role (Preferred but not essential)
Level 2 Food Safety / HACCP training - (Preferred but not essential)
COSHH training
