Location: based at the William and Patricia Venton Centre, York Road, Northampton NN1 5QJ - hybrid working.

Rate of pay: £40,000 per annum.

Hours: 37 hours per week.

About the role

We are seeking a self-motivated team player with senior management experience to oversee Age UK Northamptonshire’s human resources functions. You will support managers and employees with best practices to foster a productive and focused culture aligned with the organisation's strategic objectives.

Your responsibilities will include employee relations, job design, recruitment, performance management, training, development, and talent management. You will also serve as a strategic and positive role model within the senior management team.

About you

You should have experience supporting line managers through change, a thorough knowledge of employment law, and current HR best practices. Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills are essential.

This role manages a team of two HR Coordinators and is based at our Northampton head office with hybrid working arrangements.

You must demonstrate professionalism, practical problem-solving, and a willingness to speak up and take responsibility for your actions and those of your team.
