MCS Group is working in partnership with a key client to recruit an HSEQ Officer for a site-based role supporting a high-profile infrastructure project in the Donegal, Louth , Cavan and Monaghan regions. This is a great opportunity for someone to join an established safety team and develop their career in a hands-on environment. You'll be joining a growing safety function alongside a HSEQ Manager, Advisor and Graduate. This is a field-focused role where you'll have the autonomy to plan your own schedule and make a real impact on safety performance on the ground. Key Responsibilities Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and safety walks Promote a positive health & safety culture across all project sites Support teams with inductions, training, and toolbox talks Assist in investigations and reporting of incidents and near misses Monitor compliance and ensure safe systems of work are followed Maintain and update health & safety documentation as required What You'll Need Experience in a health & safety role, ideally in construction, civils, telecoms, or utilities Relevant HSE qualification (e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) Full driving licence - company van provided A hands-on, practical approach with excellent communication skills Someone trustworthy, self-motivated, and genuinely committed to site safety What's on Offer £28,000 - £35,000 salary (depending on experience) Company van and fuel card Full benefits package Autonomy to plan your own days Supportive and approachable team environment Access to multiple offices for inductions, training etc This role is particularly well suited to someone based in the following areas; Fermanagh Donegal Armagh Louth Meath Full details will be provided upon application.
