Overview
Within our HR Service Delivery team, supporting Gallagher companies across the UK & EMEA we are recruiting for an HR Project Co-ordinator to lead on our acquisition projects from an HR Operations perspective on an FTC, as we continue to grow our business.
This is a hybrid role, based part of the week in our modern city centre Chelmsford office which is easily commutable via train and bus, and part of the week available to work from home (after initial training in the role has completed).
The ideal experience for this role will include leading/co-ordinating HR projects related to mergers and acquisitions. You will be responsible for overseeing the onboarding project plan for each acquisition, operating as the lead contact within the HR Service Delivery team, and as the escalation point for HR Administrator resources aligned to the acquisition(s). Key deliverables will be the timely processing and tracking of Digital Right to Work, background screening, generating and issuing contracts and managing employee data.

- proactively engage with stakeholders across HR and with business colleagues to develop relationships, resolve issues and ensure that HRSD processes are followed effectively
- design, develop and maintain process SOPs and supporting documents to enable both users and HR to manage processes consistently and efficiently
- continuously strive to improve processes based on feedback and company-wide changes and initiatives, providing innovative solutions
- train and support the knowledge development of other colleagues in the team
About you
- Experience of supporting M&A activity
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with high level of attention to detail
- Aptitude for technology and process improvement, comfortable manipulating large data sets in Excel, and data management and reporting via an HRIS
- Ability to work in a fast-paced complex environment and deal with difficult situations
- Comfortable when working to tight deadlines and able to turn work around within a short time span where demands are liable to change at short notice
- A high level of initiative, comfortable working autonomously and across multiple tasks
- Ability to manage complex and highly confidential information
- Due diligence approach
- Problem-solver with excellent judgement and critical thinking
