The HR Practice is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced HR Consultant to join our team. This is a full time role however we are open to part-time/flexible working, permanent role, with hours to be agreed.


This is a fantastic role for someone who loves variety, autonomy and genuinely partnering with clients to make a difference. At The HR Practice, we work on-site with our clients, becoming an extension of their management team and providing practical, commercial HR advice that drives results.


What the role looks like


You’ll be the HR lead for a portfolio of clients, delivering:

  • Commercial HR advice across the full employee lifecycle
  • Lead on projects such as TUPE, Redundancy, Organisational Design, Restructure, Job Evaluation and Salary Benchmarking.
  • Development of tailored HR processes to improve efficiency and compliance
  • Coaching and support to leaders on people management
  • Trust-based relationships where you become their go-to HR partner


What you’ll bring


We’re looking for someone with:


  • Degree in HRM and Chartered member of CIPD or equivalent
  • Experience at HR Business Partner level
  • Strong generalist HR expertise, including ER, change and transformation
  • Proven experience delivering complex HR projects
  • Confidence working autonomously and with senior stakeholders
  • A pragmatic, commercial approach
  • A flexible, human, partnership-driven mindset — aligned to our THRP values: Trusted, Human, Results, Partnership

Salary: up to £55K
