HR Advisor (12-Month FTC)

Employee Relations Focus

Location: Harlow (5 days per week on site) Were supporting a client who is looking to recruit an experienced HR Advisor with strong Employee Relations (ER) experience to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an urgent requirement within a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The Role

You will play a hands-on role supporting managers across a wide range of ER matters, providing practical, compliant advice and ensuring cases are managed consistently and effectively. Key responsibilities include: Taking a proactive role in disciplinary, grievance, sickness, suspension and performance-related cases

Coaching and advising managers on performance management, absence, grievances and attendance

Leading and supporting investigations, ensuring cases are handled efficiently and in line with current legislation

Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders

Promoting and applying HR best practice that is both compliant and commercially aligned

Experience CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent)

Proven experience working as an HR Advisor in a fast-paced, high-volume, dynamic environment

Strong communication skills with the confidence to coach and challenge managers

Self-confident with the ability to build relationships at all levels of seniority

Solid understanding of UK employment legislation and best practice

Strong Excel skills with the ability to manage and analyse data
