£24,570 per annum Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join a busy and supportive HR function. This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the sameideal for someone who enjoys structure, accuracy, and working at the centre of people operations. You will provide high-quality administrative support to senior HR stakeholders, ensuring employee records, systems, and processes are accurate, compliant, and maintained to a high standard. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior members of the HR team
Maintain accurate employee records in line with data protection and compliance requirements
Support probation processes by issuing reminders, tracking progress, and preparing outcome documentation
Manage and monitor the HR inbox, responding to queries and escalating where appropriate
Process employee starters and leavers, ensuring documentation is completed accurately and on time
Carry out routine compliance checks and upload supporting documentation to HR systems
Coordinate access passes and identification during the onboarding process
Support background and pre-employment checks, including renewals and right-to-work documentation
Assist with onboarding administration during peak periods or team absence
Complete employment references for former employees
Support professional registration and application processes where required
Conduct exit interviews (telephone or face-to-face) and report key themes to HR management
Take accurate meeting minutes and circulate actions
Log and track appraisals and performance documentation
Monitor visa expiry dates and notify relevant HR stakeholders
Track professional registrations and renewal dates
Support file compliance for employees changing contractual status or taking extended leave
Assist with HR audits, data cleansing, and record reviews
Provide cover for front-of-house or reception duties when required
Ideal Candidate:
Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Confident working independently with a structured and methodical approach
Strong attention to detail and comfortable handling confidential data
Able to build effective working relationships and communicate at all levels
Professional, discreet, and committed to accuracy
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
