Housing Project Officer Glasgow 3-6 month contract Harvey Nash's public sector client is looking for a Housing / Project Officer to support the delivery of a new-build affordable housing programme. Key Responsibilities: Support the development and delivery of new-build housing projects from inception to completion Liaise with statutory bodies, developers, consultants, and internal stakeholders Assist with procurement, budgeting, and financial monitoring Ensure compliance with design standards, building regulations, and grant requirements Support grant funding applications and claims Attend design team and site meetings and assist in managing consultants and contractors Support handover, defects management, and post-completion reviews Essential Requirements: Degree level qualification or equivalent Experience delivering new build housing projects Experience working within a social housing environment Knowledge of construction legislation and housing grant funding Strong communication, organisational, and report writing skills Desirable: Construction-related xehkeey qualification (e.g. Project Management, QS, Architecture, Planning) Membership of a relevant professional body Experience of procurement and development viability assessment This role suits a motivated individual with a strong interest in affordable housing delivery and collaborative project working.
