“No two days are the same” you will work flexibly and at pace, ensuring accuracy and consistency with exceptional communication, supporting teams that work remotely, in children’s homes, hospitals and communities across Scotland.
The Outreach Service extends the care we provide in our hospices, supporting children and families from the early days of diagnosis, throughout the child’s life, through bereavement and beyond. As Outreach Team Administrator, you’ll provide essential secretarial and administrative support to the Family Support, CHAS at Home, Spiritual Care & Bereavement, and Therapeutic Play Teams. You’ll play a vital role in keeping our teams connected and informed, ensuring data integrity, maintaining systems, and coordinating information so they can deliver exceptional care wherever families need it - at home, in hospital, or in the community.
Our outreach teams provide a tailored, holistic support and spiritual care for the entire family offering choices tailored to each unique situation. In this role you will be expected to work autonomously, finding bespoke solutions for teams who are providing support in ways that may vary for every family.
About You
We are looking for a highly organised and professional administrator, who has excellent attention to detail, to provide essential administrative/reception support to the Family Support, Outreach, Spiritual Care & Bereavement and Therapeutic Play Teams.
· Proven track record delivering high quality administrative support in a fast-paced, varied environment
· You will be a confident communicator with great attention to detail and excellent organisational, creative problem solving and prioritisation skills.
· You will have a positive, welcoming and can-do attitude.
· Maintaining confidentiality is a key attribute for this role in addition to ensuring that work is carried out efficiently, effectively and to a high standard in accordance with procedures.
· You must be able to cope with routine and challenging situations, using your initiative and working with discretion and diplomacy.
· A good working knowledge of Microsoft applications in particular Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams are essential. Alongside other applications such as database knowledge, particularly the importance of timely input and regular integrity checks.
· A commitment to CHAS core values, vision and purpose is essential.
