Hours:24 hours per week, Tuesday-FridayPay: £18 per hour Lindengate Charity is seeking an experienced and passionate Site Manager to lead the day-to-day management of our beautiful and biodiverse 6 acre gardens. This role is central to ensuring our site remains welcoming, safe and inspiring spaces that support mental, physical and social wellbeing. You will plan and deliver seasonal horticultural and conservation programmes, oversee biodiversity projects, and maintain high standards of site presentation, health and safety, and visitor experience. The role involves managing staff and volunteers, supporting wellbeing-focused activities, contributing to events and income generation, and working collaboratively across the charity to develop and enhance the site in line with Lindengate’s mission and values. The successful candidate will have higher-level horticultural or conservation qualifications (e.g. RHS Level 2–3), strong practical experience in organic and no-dig food growing, and demonstrable conservation and land-management expertise across a range of habitats. You will be confident leading people, working with volunteers, delivering inclusive activities, and managing site safety. A commitment to wellbeing through nature, strong organisational and IT skills, and the ability to work outdoors year-round are essential.
