This is a hybrid role requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in our Whitwell-on-the-Hill office. Due to the remote location, access to personal transport is essential. The position is full-time, but we are open to flexible working patterns (minimum 4 days per week).
Salary: £24,570 + bonus
About the role:
Our primary goal at Inntravel is to deliver exceptional service throughout our customers’ journeys. In this role, you will ensure smooth holiday operations through detailed coordination and direct communication with suppliers and customers, providing first-class customer service at every step.
- Provide excellent customer service via effective communication with customers and suppliers, both verbally and in writing
- Confirm accommodation details with customers
- Book flights, trains, ferries, taxis, attraction tickets, and walking permits
- Update holiday booking and availability records in our system
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries during holidays
- Issue invoices to customers
- Manage holiday changes due to unforeseen issues like strikes or travel disruptions
- Attend office-based training and travel to destinations for familiarization and knowledge-building
- Participate in out-of-hours phone duty on a rota (4-5 times per year)
The role involves working 4-5 days per week, from 9am to 5.30pm (Monday to Friday), with one Saturday per month (and occasional Sundays). Additional pay is provided for out-of-hours duties.
Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
- A genuine desire and ability to deliver high-quality service
- An enthusiasm for walking and/or cycling
- Excellent communication skills, both telephone and interpersonal
- Good written skills
- Motivation and flexibility
- High computer literacy and numeracy
- Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
