Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Full Time

A well-regarded mainstream primary school in Putney is seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time basis with an immediate start.

This is a varied and rewarding role, working across all year groups from Early Years through to Key Stage 2. The school is looking for a proactive HLTA who can take on additional responsibility, including leading whole-class sessions in the absence of the teacher and delivering targeted interventions.

The school has a supportive leadership team and a collaborative staff culture, making it an excellent environment for an experienced Teaching Assistant or HLTA looking to take the next step in their career.

The Role Will Involve:

Covering classes across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 when required Delivering pre-planned lessons and maintaining continuity of learning Supporting small groups and delivering targeted interventions Assisting teachers with planning and classroom organisation Supporting behaviour management and maintaining a positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold HLTA status or have significant experience in a similar role Be confident leading whole-class teaching across all primary key stages Demonstrate strong behaviour management skills Be flexible, proactive, and adaptable Have a clear understanding of safeguarding and child protection proceduresThis role is ideal for a confident and experienced HLTA looking for a full-time position within a supportive school, with the opportunity to work across a range of age groups.
