SANZA Teaching Agency are supporting an excellent, vibrant primary school in Waltham Forest who are looking to recruit a Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) to begin in April 2026.
About the role:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA), you will work across all year groups from EYFS to year 6. You will take classes/cover lessons while class teachers are on their planning/preparation time each week. You will also do internal class cover for when/if any teachers are off sick/absent.

You will ideally hold a Higher level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) qualification Have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum Must be flexible and adaptable as you will be moving/teaching across different classes each day You must have excellent communication and organisational skills Strong classroom management skills and ability to build rapport quickly
