Higher Level Teaching Assistant - SEN Provision (Autism Specialist Set

New Yesterday

A highly supportive mainstream primary school is seeking an experienced and confident Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work within its dedicated SEN provision, specialising in supporting children with autism.

This provision is a specialist unit based within the main school building, offering a structured, nurturing environment for pupils with additional needs while maintaining inclusion within the wider school community.

You will work closely with the SENCO, teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure pupils receive consistent, high-quality support tailored to their individual needs.

While a HLTA qualification is not essential, substantial experience working with children with SEN — particularly autism — is absolutely paramount.
