£45,000 - £50,000 per annum (approximate average, based on a typical work week) The Role: ARC is seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 HIAB Tramper Driver for a temporary to permanent position with our valued client in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional driver who enjoys a varied and independent role. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of goods across the UK, using your HGV Class 1 and HIAB skills. This is a tramping role, meaning you will be required to stay away from home for several nights a week as you complete a variety of national routes. No two days will be the same! What we are looking for: A valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license
An up-to-date HIAB certification (ALLMI or ITSSAR)
A valid CPC and Digi-Tacho Card
A minimum of 6 months' commercial HGV Class 1 driving experience
A positive and professional attitude
Strong communication and customer service skills
Excellent knowledge of UK road networks and driver hours regulations
Key Responsibilities: Driving an HGV Class 1 vehicle with a HIAB crane attachment
Operating the HIAB crane to safely load and unload goods
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Following all road haulage regulations and safety procedures
Completing all necessary paperwork accurately
Delivering goods to various locations across the UK
Providing excellent customer service at all times
