HGV Technician\n\nWe are recruiting for an experienced HGV Technician to work for our client who are in Leeds, West Yorkshire.\n\nTHE DUTIES:\n\n * Carry out routine inspections and servicing of HGVs in line with maintenance schedules\n\n * Perform general repairs and preventative maintenance in a safe and professional manner\n\n * Diagnose vehicle faults accurately using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques\n\n * Investigate mechanical and electrical issues and report findings clearly\n\n * Complete all repairs in accordance with current manufacturer standards and guidelines\n\n * Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company procedures\n\n * Maintain accurate records of inspections, diagnostics, and repair work completed\n\n * Report directly to the Workshop Manager and communicate any issues or additional work required\n\nESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:\n\n * Please only apply if you have the proper Mechanical qualifications i.e. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3 or time served with an IRTEC accreditation.\n\n * Knowledge of cranes or hydraulics\n\n * Experience working on tippers, tipper grabs or beaver tails\n\n * Knowledge of latest diagnostic systems\n\n * Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) HGV License (Car License Holders will also be considered)\n\n * We very much pride ourselves on the standards of service on all of our vehicles.
