Location: Dartford
Shifts: 4 on / 4 off (Days or Nights available)
Salary: £44,449.60 – £50,835.20 per year
Hourly Rate: Day Shift: Up to £21.37 per hour | Night Shift: Up to £24.44 per hour

Accord Resourcing is recruiting skilled HGV Technicians to join a professional commercial vehicle fleet maintenance operation. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified technicians looking to advance their career in a supportive, IRTEC-accredited workshop environment.

The Role

As an HGV Technician, you will:

* Carry out diagnostics, servicing, and repairs on HGVs

* Ensure all work meets manufacturer and company standards

* Maintain high levels of quality control and “right first time” repairs

* Work with the VMU Manager to plan additional repairs

* Record all time spent on repairs accurately

* Maintain tools, equipment, and workshop machinery

* Keep the workshop clean, safe, and organised

* Work as part of a team to achieve workshop performance targets

Candidate Requirements

* NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds qualification in HGV / Heavy Vehicle Maintenance

* Experience in a commercial vehicle or fleet environment

* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

* IT literate with the ability to record and track repairs

* Committed to safety and high-quality workmanship

* Able to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable (not essential):

* HGV Class 1 driving licence

* Experience with tail lifts
