You'll be working a night shift pattern and play a vital part in ensuring that our fleet is always maintained, serviced and safe. Pay, benefits and more. What youll do on a typical day: Carry out MOT preparations, servicing and repairs on our fleet of HGVs Diagnose faults on vehicles Work on Rigids, Tractors and Trailers Knowledge of tail lifts an advantage Stripping, fitting and replacing components What you need to succeed at XPO: Proven experience in an HGV Fitter/Mechanic role Relevant HGV mechanic qualification, such as BTEC or City & Guilds (desirable) A full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement (desirable) Be part of something big
