The Opportunity: HGV Driver Class 2 Contract: Permanent Location: Glasgow and Bathgate - Access Plus Salary: £32,000 - £34,000 + Overtime The Briggs Equipment Group is a leading provider of asset management and maintenance solutions across the UK and Ireland. The Impact you will have: Deliver High standards of Service Delivery to customers. Follow transport plan as provided by the transport planning team. Requirement to work out of hours and overnight stays including working from other Briggs locations when required Adhering to all Transport legislation – current and future Daily defect reporting of vehicle defects using mobile compliance application – (Convey) Accurate record keeping and use of Tachograph. Responsible for Self - loading of vehicle by means of drive on / drive off of equipment. Responsible for securing of Load by means of Ratchet straps, Chains etc to ensure goods are transported safely. Responsible for checking equipment to be loaded aligns with Transport documentation / mobile work device, reporting any discrepancies to line Manager / Transport planner.
