Overview We are seeking experienced and reliable HGV Driver (Class 1/2) to join our team. This role involves operating various types of commercial vehicles to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have a good driving background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and professionalism. This position offers an opportunity to work in a busy quarrying and readymix environment.

Duties

Experience of HIAB (Lorry Loader) would be advantageous. Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws and safety standards Maintain accurate documentation related to deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance Communicate effectively with office and clients regarding delivery times or any issues encountered during transit. Follow all safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe working environment

Experience

Valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class (Class 1 or 2) with a clean driving record along with a Valid CPC Strong communication skills for effective coordination with team members and clients HIAB (Lorry Loader) Experience would be advantageous.

This role demands professionalism, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Candidates should be prepared for ongoing training to stay current with industry standards and regulations.
