HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver

Solvit Recruitment are currently looking for a HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver.This is an on-going role.We are working with a local authority who are looking for an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will drive a refuse collection vehicle supplied by the Authority to carry out designated duties. These duties are to ensure that all waste streams (including Trade Waste) are collected. This is a varied role and you will be working and assisting on your team, and on occasion you will be on the road sweeper.We will require your CV for this position.Hours of work.Monday to Friday 06:00 until Finish however usual weekly hours 37.You will be paid £17.18 per hour excluding holiday pay.Benefits. On-going role.Weekly pay.Secure onsite parking.Pension.Accrued Holiday Pay. Requirements. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.Understand Health & Safety. Comply with all Site Safety Instructions relating to all landfill sites, waste transfer stations and recycling merchant sites. Follow all traffic laws and regulations.Excellent communication oral and written.Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.HGV Class 2 experience.No DR, DD, TT, IN and not served any bans in the last 5 years.
