HGV Class 2 Driver - Manchester Airport We are recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver at Manchester Airport to work alongside our aviation team. Pay: £17 p/h - weekly pay Shifts: 4on 2off - 6hr shifts Contract: Temp to Perm Location: Manchester Airport Start Date: ASAP Main Duties of the HGV Driver Driving HGV 15 - 18 tonne company liveried vehicles in a secure & controlled environment Carrying out vehicle checks prior to use Loading and unloading uplifts to aircraft Liaison with flight crew and working in collaboration with other ground handling suppliers Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the vehicle Adhering to all Road Traffic Acts and additional Airport By-laws Plus any additional warehouse duties Requirements of the HGV Driver: Valid clean HGV CAT C Driving Licence (up to 3 points will be considered) Digital Tachograph knowledge and possession of a digital tachograph card Driver CPC qualification essential Previous HGV experience desirable, Airport Airside Driving would be an advantage Knowledge of the Road Traffic Act If you have a LGV / HGV licence (Minimum Class C), Tachograph Card (Tacho Card) and CPC - Drivers Qualification Card please get in touch.
