HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Multi-Drop – Swindon People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our well-established client based in Hedge End. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. This role is ideal for an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver looking for consistent day-shift work. Shifts: •

Monday to Friday (weekend work available) •

07:00 starts Rates of Pay: •

£17.18 per hour (Monday to Friday) •

£25.77 per hour over time •

£33.36 per hour Sunday/Bank Holiday Benefits: As an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will receive: •

Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: As an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): •

Class 2 HIAB multi-drop deliveries and operation of lorry-mounted crane •

Operating Category C vehicles safely and efficiently •

Carrying out pre- and post-journey vehicle inspections •

Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly •

Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations •

Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers •

Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements •

Assisting with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills: To be successful as an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will need: Valid UK Category C Driving Licence MUST have ALLMI or RTITB qualification Minimum of 24 months' experience driving C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsement codes) Valid UK Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and timekeeping Strong understanding of UK road traffic laws Effective communication skills Desirable Experience: •

Previous experience driving commercial vehicles Training: •

Driver assessment required prior to starting •

One-day paid induction following a successful assessment •
