HGV Class 2 Hiab Driver - Brick Grab

to join our well-established client based in

Hermiston Gait Edinburgh.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering competitive pay rates and genuine opportunities for growth and progression. To be considered for this role, you must hold a valid grab HIAB licence. Shifts:

Monday to Friday: 07.00 - 16.30

Pay Rate:

£16.25 -

As a

Class 2 Hiab Driver Brick Grab Driver , your duties will include (but not be limited to): Delivering building materials to construction sites Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently to and from delivery locations Using a HIAB/lorry-mounted crane in a safe and efficient manner Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all Freight is loaded and secured properly Adhering to traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assisting with loading and unloading of cargo when required Essential skills:

To be successful as a

Class 2 Hiab Driver , you will need: A valid grab HIAB licence - Brick Grab A valid UK Category C licence, CPC card, and Digi card No more than six penalty points for minor infringements, with no major endorsement codes The ability to use a PDA (personal digital assistant) Good spoken and written English Punctuality and strong time-keeping skills A solid understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills The ability to work well as part of a team Desirable experience: Previous commercial driving experience (beneficial but not essential) Previous multi-drop experience (beneficial but not essential) Training:
