to join our client based in

Tamworth, Staffordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent hourly rates, consistent Monday to Friday work, and long-term ongoing opportunities. Shifts: Monday - Friday Start times: 04:00 - 06:00 Rates of Pay: £16.50 per hour £25.00 per night out Benefits: Your benefits as a HGV Class 2 Driver are: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Site canteen Training provided Immediate starts Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties: Your duties as a HGV Class 2 Driver will be to: Safely operate Class 2 (Category C) vehicles Carry out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all loads are safely secured Adhere to traffic laws and company procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers Report any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements Assist with loading and unloading as needed 5 –10 drops per day, including distance work (as far as Carlisle and Cornwall) Essential Skills: The skills required to be a HGV Class 2 Driver are: Valid UK Category C Licence Minimum of three months experience driving Class 2 vehicles Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements No major endorsements Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Good level of spoken and written English Strong punctuality and time-keeping Good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience: Experience driving commercial vehicles Previous multi-drop experience Training: Driving assessment required prior to start One day paid induction following successful assessment Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout Apply: If you are ready to take on this excellent opportunity as an HGV Class 2 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process.
