Drivers Direct Recruitment are looking to recruit Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our client to join their team in Preston, this is a temp to perm position, you will go on full time after 13 weeks. Hours of work: Days 0430 0600 starts. Monday - Friday Salary: Weekdays - £15.74 ph. (inclusive of holiday pay) Move onto 34,000 Salaried when you go on full time. The Role: Delivery of flooring products on HGV 2 vehicles. Delivering to high street shops and domestic properties. Physical role, some drops are handball. Nights out may be required as some runs are to Scotland, this is uncommon but something to keep in mind. Duties/Responsibilities: Carrying out relevant daily vehicle safety checks and reporting as per Operational Procedures. Ensure all delivery and collections are carried out in accordance with company procedures. To deliver & collect to customers in a safe and professional manner.
